This series has been one with a big pause between the second and third book, and I promise you, it wasn’t to build up the dramatics. For any of you who have read the first book HIDDEN IN DARKNESS and followed up with the second book LOST IN FIRE, you’ll know it is a heavy series. There is a lot of world-building and magic systems, though a lot of the story is focused on building relationships between Melas, Zura, Orren, Ridhor, and Andrei. For me as the author, it is emotional, and with most things that are over-emotional, it was draining. Because of this, I took a small break between the second and third book in the series just so that I could write this story with the same passion and focus I had when writing the first two.
If you haven’t read the first or second book yet, no worries. The release for book three is Summer 2023, so there is still time. Make sure to grab your copies with your Kindle Unlimited subscriptions or buy your ebooks/paperbacks to catch to before the third book is released.
