For anyone who has been following me since my debut novel HIDDEN IN DARKNESS released and reading along, immersed in the world of the Seven Realms, you’ve caught sight of two Pixies who have aligned themselves with Melas, Zura, Andrei, Orren, and Ridhor. Cricket and Alette.
Alette is a flora Pixie who was one of the few beings in the whole of the Seven Realms who was gifted with a bloodstone, all that’s left of the ancient rulers who were lost in the Great War. Cricket is an assassin, sworn to bloodshed to make up for the atrocities committed against her and her people, and fuelled by a promise of vengeance. A purse on Alette’s head brings the ruthless assassin right to her doorstep.
This book was really fun to write. You get to further explore the relationship between the two Pixies as they fight against those in the Seven Realms who mean to cause them harm.
